new item refused by GIXEN because unmatch currency

I want to bid on a ebay item in the UK - from Germany EURO zone.
So the currentcy is in pound, I enter my amount in gixen, then I get an error message CAN NOT ADD ... because unmatch currentcy.
In the FAQ I find:
What currency are my bid amounts in Gixen?
Bid amounts are always in the currency in which the auction was listed. Thus, if the current bid in the auction shows as GBP 1.50, then entering a bid of 3.00 in Gixen would mean that Gixen would bid GBP 3.00.

I have restarted gixen and now it works - so please ignore my error message.
