It's not a very helpful message is it ?
Perhaps Mario could ask Ebay to make it a bit more expressive, or at least give us a explanatory list of all the possible causes.

No, don't think I've bought from this seller before.
Yes, my delivery address is also in the UK.
Ebay ID (adennisa15]) started 16-Apr-02 - so 18+ years.
Had no trouble bidding/sniping until recently.

Target setting isn't going to be the issue here.
Have you ever bought from this seller before ?
I presume your delivery address is within Great Britain, and not at a remote location ?
How long have you been using this Ebay id ?

Post subject: \"You are not eligible to bid on this item.\" (27
This is the second time in a couple of months Gixen has failed to place a bid for me.
The first time I assumed it was because Gixen was placing a bid through .com on a .co.uk listing, then I discovered the country settings.
This time Gixen was set to .co.uk for a .co.uk listing.
After the failed bid last time, I successfully placed manual bids on the ebay website, just in case it failed again.
I was outbid and Gixen failed to place the snipe bid.
What could be wrong?
