Post subject: Setting Gixen offset
That is why some bidders set their offset on Gixen to be longer
Thanks juangrande for the explanation. Can you tell me how to do that? Is it possifble to do with the free account?

eBay rules specify that if two bidders bid the same amount, then the first bidder wins. If somebody bid $20 and your bid of $20 is made later, then your bid will be rejected by eBay since it is less that $20 + the bid increment.
That is why some bidders set their offset on Gixen to be longer since doing so increases your chance of winning in the case someone bids the same amount as you.

Post subject: I bid for $20 and lost to bidder who bid $20
I bid $20 and was outbid by winning bidder who won it for $20. How did that happen? I could see if the bidder bid say $21 and won the item.
