I had placed a bid on an item last week. I went to check on it in gixen and it was gone from gixen. Original bid into gixen on 8/28/17 for 7 day auction. Re-entered the bid.

Please email Mario directly at the Gixen support email found by clicking the [Contact] tab at the top of any Gixen page. Be sure to include your Gixen ID and the eBay auction number so he can check the logs.

Records of snipes are only retained, in the database, for a few days after the auction has completed...

If there is a compelling reason that you need the logs checked for this item please follow Johns instructions...

Otherwise, please be aware this is normal operation on Gixen, not a defect.

The auction has not closed yet.

I'll email after it closes and after the Labor Day holiday.

Ah I see, I misunderstood... interpreting that you had scheduled a snipe on a re-listing of an auction that completed... my apologies.

Gixen does the bidding, you schedule the snipes for it to do so.

It would be a first for Gixen to lose a snipe while an auction is running... most peculiar... yes, email Mario with the details so that he can find what happened.

As Mario suggested in 2017 when this was last reported, it would be a good idea to also email him at the support address given on the Contact tab above.

That way if Mario can find out what is going on this time he may be able to prevent it happening to anyone else in the future... even if it does only seem to happen every couple of years.

Today I noticed that two bids I had entered on two auctions had turned to 0 before the auction finished. I reentered them and hopefully they will stick.
# 383093993496 and # 293183740087

Day before yesterday I entered a bid on item # 312725973826 and I think no bid was placed by GIXEN. I'll check if that one turned to 0 also before the end of the auction after I send this off to you, Mark.

Still not sure what you really see.

As for 312725973826, bid was under asking price - max bid was 7.89, and the item sold for 12.99. When your bid is already too low at auction end time, your bid will not be submitted, as eBay will not even accept it. This is normal.

Item 312725973826 the starting price was 12.99, it wasn't sold, it's never been possible to bid below the starting price.
