Hi there,
I'm wondering if anyone can suggest a good way to set up a snipe on a product that has 5 auctions, all ending at the same time. Then there's the same item posted 4 times ending about 1 day later.
I only want to win the item once.
Thanx in advance |

My suggestion would be to set up a Group with only one of the items that dinish at the same time, I would choose the one that currently has the least interest, either the lowest current price or the lowest number of bids.
The ones the next day (assuming those do not also end at the same time as each other, or indded within 2 minutes of each other) I would also add to that Group.
If there are many available then you can be quite sure that there will be more listed in the near future, so if the above strategy does not work you can always do it all over again. _________________ Mark

So, if I am to understand this correctly...
1 of the five that has the least interest would be my "target" .. forget the rest since they could all possibly be won. Then add all 4 of the ones that end the next day to the same group as my target.
Hmm ok makes sense
thnx |

Yes, that is what I would do.
I think I would also keep an eye on the others (that are ending together but I am not tartgeting) and if I didn't win the one that I had targeted but another went for under what I was prepared to pay then I might edit the rest of the snipes in the group in line with that lowest price so that there was no possibility of my paying more than someone else did recently. _________________ Mark |
