Can you please clarify for me how the bidding works when Gixen enters the amount that I have specified for my bid?
I am used to bidding on eBay where I state my maximum bid and eBay submits my bids incrementally up to the maximum that I have stated. I may win at an amount less than my maximum if no one else goes that high.
If I set my bid on Gixen for my absolute maximum bid, does that mean that I will end up paying that much if I win the auction, or will eBay automatically use the lowest dollar amount that will beat the last bidder?
Thanks so much for your help on this. |

Gixen will submit your (maximum) bid to ebay few seconds before the auction end. It will do it just once. Then ebay will use proxy bidding.
So you will not necessarily pay the highest amount, ebay will still use the lowest dollar amount that will beat the second highest bidder. |
