Collecting Nectar points at ebay.co.uk

We can collect Nectar points on eBay transactions in the UK at ebay.co.uk.

However the terms and conditons at pages.ebay.co.uk/nectar-rewards/programme.html

say,

"All items purchased using Sniping tools are not eligible for Nectar points since these tools are not compatible with ebay.co.uk. If you use these tools to win an auction, the transaction will be completed on ebay.com and because of that you are not entitled to receive Nectar points."

Does this apply to Gixen?

It would appear not since I am still collecting Nectar points on my account even though I almost exclusively use Gixen to bid for me.

I do have my Target site set to be the United Kingdom on both Main and Mirror though.
