My Gixen mirror subscription is good until Wed, Sep 2, 2026.
But on my page it has the heading \"Your ebay authorization has expired or expires in less than 10 days. Please renew it on the Gixen settings page or your snipes may fail.\" Okay, I click on Gixen Settings , as instructed, only to find nothing about authorisation.
So tonight I left two snipes but both failed with a message on each saying \"INVALID AUTHORIZATION\".
So I have a valid, paid up account, so what is going on? Why do I need to re-validate my account, and if so, why doesn't the Gixen Settings page take me to where I can do that?
Pretty annoying all round.

The issue seems to be resolved now for me. Not too sure what was going on before.

As always seems to be the case with people that post here, there's once again a confusion between the Subscription and the Authorisation, which are actually completely different things.

This seems to be the case even when one of the most recent posts on this forum tackles the issue directly.

You need to start from the Gixen Settings page, SECOND SECTION.

Apart from that generalisation, I am not at all confused by the difference between the Subscription and the Authorisation! And whilst it might have been the subject of recent posts on here, I don't come on Gixen to visit the forum.
But thank you for the guidance. However, when I visit SETTINGS, which I did before I posted on here initially, there is no heading anything like \"eBay authorization status: Active.\" on my account.
So there is nowhere for me to go to update my authorisation, so I am still unable to update it and I am still stuck and unable to use my Gixen account.

... And in answer to the question 'why?', that's because Ebay revokes the authorisation that you provide for Gixen to place bids on your behalf after 18 months, or when you change your credentials on their site, whichever is the sooner.

You could start a campaign on their site for them to change that, but there's practically nothing anyone associated with Gixen can do about it.

I know the difference between the gixen subscription and eBay authorization. I?ve been a paying subscriber of gixen for years now. There was an issue with gixen and eBay authorizations that day for several hours. I followed all the troubleshooting steps noted above before i posted here and made my own post.

Also trying to reply to this post it blocks https or www being in the post/reply.

OK, well if so it hasn't yet been explained in a way that can be investigated... what were the symptoms, what exactly were you doing when they occurred, which Gixen page are we talking about... Do you have any screenshots that might help to demonstrate the exact issue? .. Does it recur, or was it just on that one day?... Any error messages displayed, other than 'Invalid Authorisation' as a status on a snipe and the message about renewing it ?.. Any unresponsive selections or dead links ?
