Awaiting sign-up email

Hi - signed up a couple of hours ago but still waiting for confirmation email, do they generally take this long? Have checked it's not in the spam / junk folders.

It's been a long time since I registered a new Gixen account.

Are you able to log into your Gixen account without any issues ?

Are you waiting for a confirmation of your payment, which would come from your payment processor (eg Paypal) or from Gixen itself ?... Because I'm not certain that there is one of those.

Also, if you're waiting for Gixen to send you an email, what is it that makes you think you should receive one, is there a message on the page, when you sign up, saying you'll be contacted via email ?

Nope, I can't log in. Using the credentials saved in the browser when I signed up I get a 'password is not a match' error. If I use the forgot password (or username) option I don't receive the reset email - I can only assume I mistyped the email address when signing up. Will try again...

Yeah, that's probably the most likely cause.

Only other option is emailing Mario direct at the support address given on the Contact page... send it from the email address that you thought you registered with Gixen for your account, include what you think is your Gixen id, and roughly when you created it and he may be able to track it down.

I presume you didn't make any payments, because if you did notification of the payment should also reference the Gixen id that it relates to.

You don't need the confirmation email at all. Just login using the password you selected during the signup process.

Note that if you did not link your ebay account during the registration, that registration is discarded and you have to start over.
