I just lost out on a bid because the stupid linking somehow has reset or something. I had just done the linking thing a couple weeks back and now it says I have to do it again AFTER I lost out on an item. WTF is going on?

Have you changed any credentials on Ebay, like password or user name, because that is a known cause of losing the authorisation ?

If you haven't, then it's something you could ask Ebay support, they might be able to tell you why they revoked the authorisation... Investigations as to why an authorisation granted by Ebay is subsequently rejected by them, from the Gixen side of things, are unlikely to be fruitful, certainly not without some indication from the Ebay side as to why they're rejecting things.

If you do get any information, via that route, it would be very public spirted of you if you could report it back to the community here, because that might help others track down why these issues occur for them too.
