Hi Mario

Just lost two auctions with this old issue again. Not a major worry as they were nice to haves not need to haves. Here’s the details

Item: 304071376578
Title: Barbados - 1921 - Definitive Issue - SG 225 - Used - CV 7.50
Seller: mblo1541
Status (main): INVALID AUTHORIZATION
Status (mirror): INVALID AUTHORIZATION
Your maximum bid: 1.75
Current price: 0.59

Thought you should know in case it’s a new glitch.

Thanks

This is something you can resolve yourself using the second section on the Settings page, it costs nothing and only takes a few minutes.

You need to do this at least once every 18 months as Ebay expires the authorisation after that.

If it's been less than that since you last did it, have you changed your Ebay credentials recently, as that is known to invalidate the authorisation ?

Thanks Cupid,

When I logged in on the desktop the warning was there, plain to see. Unfortunately, I'd been relying on the app and/or the Gixen button in the eBay items and didn't see any warnings.

Thanks again for your help

Happened repeatedly very recently . .'not authorized' I missed out two items--one or two of which showed *no* bids . . so I 're-authorized and within a day or so, those blasted red letters told me again I had to re-link my account again. tsk

This was one item: 373664129765
This was another item: 363481529334

Have you changed anything on your Ebay account recently, e.g. your password or username ?

Only Mario has the access required to investigate behind the scenes, he can be contacted direct via email at the support address given on the Contact tab above.

Are you saying I have to re-link with ebay everytime I change my ebay password?

Yes, it is sensible to do that because ebay has decided that that action invalidates the authorisation.
