Hi there! I purchased the premium and mirror service to Gixen a week or two ago, and everything with my account appears to be in good standing, including BOTH ebay authorizations. I've used the service, mainly through the desktop app, with several auction items, all of which I have lost. The latest two auctions I SHOULD have won, but Gixen placed my bids 30 minutes before the auction ended rather than 6 seconds, which allowed someone to outbide me by a penny each time.
There aren't many settings I can mess up here. The item ID is correct, and the bids ARE being placed in my name, they are just being placed WAY too early which is causing me to lose auctions. I'm not using the grouping feature, and my main/mirror offset is set for 6/3 which I believe is correct, and is in SECONDS. The latest example ebay item number is 223873327979.
Any idea what is going on? I need some help, otherwise this service isn't working at all for me. Thanks in advance. |

I suspect you are reading the auction bidding incorrectly because the bid of 5:00 which was outbid by 1 cent was placed just 5 seconds before that auction end.
That winning bid was placed about 23 hours 30 minutes earlier.
This is how Ebay works, the highest accepted bid always wins, and often that isn't the last one placed.
The advantage of sniping is to avoid reactions to your bid... those placed earlier than yours are obviously not that, they may be higher than you were prepared to pay though, and that seems to me to have been the case here. _________________ Mark |

It's pretty much impossible that Gixen places a bid early, even seconds early, and especially half an hour early. |
