I recently got a message saying my mirror subscription had expired, even though I had it setup for auto-renew and put a manual payment through a week before. I received a confirmation saying the payment was received, and confirmed that the payment and my account were both registered under the same email address.

Thoughts on how to fix this?

Is it possible that you have more than one Gixen account registered?

I think you can check using the:

Forgot your Gixen username? You can retrieve it here.

link on the 'Sign Up' page, and see if you get more than one reported.

Hmm, interesting. When I tried the forgotten username function, I received two emails back. One said "You do not have a Gixen username. You used to use Gixen by logging directly with your eBay username" and the other gave my correct username.

Now what?

Have you tried logging in again the old way ?

There's obviously still something in the name database that Gixen is using in order for you to have got that first one.

I'm wondering if perhaps the update to your Mirror subscription has mistakenly got associated with that ?

Another thing you could try is transferring the subscription from that account to the one you are now using, that option is on the Settings page:


Quote:
Transfer your mirror subscription to another username.

Proceed to the username change form: Mirror Transfer Form

Note: Please delete all your snipes from the old account before doing the transfer, especially if this is not a dead account.
Note: If you don't get the confirmation email, check your SPAM folder, especially if you use Yahoo email.


There's nothing to lose if there isn't anything there to be transferred, is there ?

OK, I tried that, and was able to register with a new (temporary) username. However, when I tried to transfer, I got this error:

Payment information not found. Please contact support(at)gixen.com.

OK,

I guess you do need to email Mario, as it suggests, because it doesn't sound like your subscription has gone there...

When you email him please let him know when the payment was that isn't showing up as a credit to your Gixen account, and the Gixen account name that you expected it to be credited to.

You might also want to direct him to this thread, as he might want to make suggestions here too.

Oh, I'd give him a few days, at least... I think he probably does get a lot of email... and this site isn't even his full time job, let alone his greatest responsibility.
