Gixen Chrome addon requires adding item twice

Every time I try to use the "Add to Given" button next to the "Place bid" button, I have to add the item twice, because the first time I hit "Add", it kicks me to a slightly different page and I need to put in the desired price and snipe timer (to 3 seconds from 6). What's up with that?
