I won two items yesterday. I grouped them both as "group 1" . My understanding and previous experience is that the 2nd item bid should be cancelled after winning the 1st ~ but it didn't happen this time. As it is, it's not a big deal; low value items, but I'd like to be assured it won't happen again if I bid on high value multiple items. Any ideas, anyone? Smile

Just curious: Were the end times of the two auctions less than 2 minutes apart?

Also worth checking is on your 'Settings' page what the status of 'Multi-win group bidding' is and if so what the number associated with Group 1 is.

If neither of the suggestions provide further insight please can you post the auction numbers of the two auctions here, or provide them privately via email.

In my settings, Group 1 is set to "1".
Both items ended at 13.30..........would that explain it?

If the current status of "Multi-win group bidding" is "enabled" and the number of "items to win before canceling remaining" is set to 1, then the second bid should indeed have been canceled unless the auction end times were too close together (i.e., less than two minutes).

Is 13.30 the ending price of both items, or the ending time? The ending price should have nothing to do with whether or not the second bid was made.

13.30 was the end time of both items.
It sounds as if that was the cause. If so, at least I'll know to keep an eye on this in future. Thanks to all contributors for input and advice Smile

Yes, please note that at the bottom of the snipes page it states:

Quote:

Warning: Bids you want to exclude each other should be in the same group. Do not group items that end within 2 minutes of each other. In doing so you may win them all.

Important note: snipes deleted less than 2 minutes before auction end may still be executed.
