I've tried my email and user id to login with Gixen... ebay says "Password is not a match. Could not log you in."

Please always use your Ebay id and not your email address when using Gixen, the two may now operate the same with Ebay but Gixen was designed to use the id only and even if they work Gixen would treat them as separate accounts.

Is this issue happening for you via the web interface or via the Gixen Desktop Manager in a Windows operating system?

If via the web, are you on a desktop or a mobile device or tablet... If it isn't a desktop can you give details of the browser you are using on your device?... and then if you have access to a desktop can you try to log in on that via a standard browser?

If the problem persists in a normal desktop browser, for more than a day, please email Mario via the support address given on the Contact tab above. Include your Ebay id but not your password in that communication.

I am having the same problem. My eBay password and ID have not changed, and I can log in directly at eBay, but both the Gixen website login and the PC client give a login error.

I'm able to log in today, with no changes on my system since I had the problem last night. I'm using Firefox on a Windows 7 PC to access the Gixen website, also using the Gixen Desktop Manager on the same system.

Sometimes Ebay takes temporary sanctions against your account logging in from locations that are not where it thinks you live... which is what you are sometimes doing when logging in to Gixen... In those cases the issue is resolved in a day or so... and that is the best way to resolve the issue... just by waiting for Ebay to drop the sanction.

Which is why I advise people only to try following up on resolving this issue, by contacting Mario via email, only if it persists for more than a day or so.
