How Does Gixen Handle Foreign Currency?

I'm bidding on an auction which lists GBP (Great Britain Pounds) as the currency. The starting bid is GBP 12.00 (which eBay claims is about US$ 24.55). I entered a snipe bid which I intended to be US$ 35.23, and Gixen lists the Current bid as 12.00 and my Bid as 35.23. So, when the snipe bid is entered, will it be interpreted as US$ or GBP? Or, is this a question for eBay?

Gixen is oblivious to currency - it always assumes currency in which auction is listed. Current bid and maximum bid always show the same currency. So in this case, it's 12.00 and 35.23 GBP.
