Since 18:22 PDT there are intermittent network failures on the main server that cause some snipes to fail with http timeouts or network errors.
I am investigating this at the moment, will post an update when I find out more. |

Apparently DNS servers on Gixen main server's hosting facility are down or dead slow. The issue is temporarily resolved by hardcoding ebay's IP numbers, and the last failure due to this occurred around 19:22 PDT, so this has been going on for around an hour.
No snipes failed on the mirror server, since it's hosted by another hosting company.
I apologize to all affected users. |

There was a warning of some kind (ebay "attention buyer" screen). Unfortunately due to technical issue (omission of mine) I haven't logged the entire response page so I don't know what exactly the reason is. I apologize - if this happens again I will have the response logged. |
