I also live in the UK and first registered my account via the .co.uk site.

There is no such thing as a local only account on Ebay, they are all global.

You can just log into the American site with the same credentials as the uk one.

If you prefer your bids to be sent via the UK site (not that it makes much difference these days), you can change that via the settings page, on Gixen it is known as the Target site.

I am trying to sign up to Gixen but I only have an ebay.co.uk account, not ebay.com. When signing up, it takes me directly to the .com to link it to my account. Is there a way of completing the process without opening a .com account?
