Without seeing your particular auction type..

In general when items end early it's often because:

--Seller reserve was low and due to lack of bids he was worried it would go for minimum price.

or

--Seller had an offer (usually a PM etc on or off-site).

or

--Someone bid a Buy it Now on the item.

If you look at the auction page for this one it says:

Quote:
This listing was ended by the seller because the item was sold.

so the seller decided to end it early and sell at the price it had reached at that time.

You can also see the details of this on the bids page, the auction was started at '28 Jan 2020 at 3:52:36PM GMT' with a duration of 7 days but ended at '4 Feb 2020 at 3:26:57PM GMT' nearly half an hour before the auction was due to end normally.

You would have to ask the seller why they decided to do that...

Item Number 164053075979

Mirror said the same thing. Snipe submitted a day in advance. Don't recall using the refresh. No other snipes have been affected, just had to happen on the one thing I really wanted.

Was this the same status given on both the Main and Mirror tabs ?

When did you submit or edit this snipe, Gixen needs at least 2 minutes before the auction ends to be able to schedule even a modified bid ?

Do you ever use the refresh button of the browser in the snipes window ?

Any idea why this would come up as a reason?

My bid was well in excess of what the auction ended at, yet no bid was placed and this was the quoted reason?
