I was trying to win one item on ebay. It's not a rare item, in fact it comes up a few times a day. I did my research and found the average price the item sells for. I decided to try bid-assistant. I entered 7 items in the group all for more than the going average. Each time an item came up it started a bidding war, I lost every time to prices 30 to 50% more than the average I had seen.

I set up a Gixen group. The first item was never bid on since my bid was less than the max plus increment. I won the second attempt for the exact average price I had noticed previously.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Gixen can do.
