I am looking into it - this time it was very short-lived, so it may be a different issue, maybe not even on the Gixen side. |

It still seems to be happening though. :(
In the last 20 minutes I got an "ENDED" (Auction ended. This auction has ended.) on the main server, but the mirror server placed the bid. It was 323001120500 if Mario wants a reference.

I suspect this was an unfortunate victim of that issue then.
I can only apologise as has Mario on that thread. |

Thanks for the reply.
I think it was during the server downtime, I was writing while the other thread was being made.
It just said Auction ended. This auction has ended.
I have not as yet got a mirror account. |

I think that item probably ended during the period dealt with on this thread.
Does the status indicate a timeout (or "auction ended") ?
Was this snipe Mirrored and if so what was the status on that tab too ? |

|
I placed a Gixen bid for someone 15 minutes before auction end on item 152866059388. It said it was scheduled. My bid was ÂGBP 4.77, the item had 1 other bidder who had already placed a bid, it ended at ÂGBP 3 which was the starting bid. The Gixen snipe was never made. I won another item earlier this afternoon so do not understand what went wrong. I was showing someone how ebay works and how to place auction snipes, feel a bit foolish now. |
