As well as potentially being illegal, it would be an utterly pointless thing to do.
The whole point of using a sniper is to bid the maximum that you would be happy to pay for the item. If somebody else (whether a Gixen user or not) is willing to pay more for the item, then you should either (1) be happy that you haven't overpaid for the item, or (2) have placed a higher snipe yourself. |

Such a feature would undoubtedly be regarded as auction tampering by Ebay.
As such it would certainly break their rules.
I suspect that under some jurisdictions it might even be challenged through the courts. |

Hi there,
I was thinking a few days ago (after being out-sniped on an item) would anyone consider the idea of an auto-check, when defining a snipe's parameters, if another Gixen user has also set up a snipe on the same item, and his/hers snipe is higher?
Maybe implement it as a premium only feature, or paid separately, but it would be a cool thing to do I think...
