Failures of this type occur in as many as 1 in 250 snipes from a single server.
The Mirror reduces that rate considerably because then you have two different servers in different locations both trying to place the bid for you.
When failure rates increase above the normal level on a single server that is an indication that things need to be looked into more closely... in this case there doesn't seem to be a lot of failures being reported, yet. |

| no unfortunately not a mirrored snipe... so next time wise to use a mirrored snipe as backup? |
