Snipes remain in the list for a couple of days after Gixen detects that the auction has ended, after that Mario can access them for a couple of weeks before they are completely deleted from the sniping servers.
If you press the 'Purge Completed', then that removes them immediately from your display. |

I think something like that happened to me. I was sure that I had listed several legends of the West stamp items, but they were never displayed after my other auctions with other sellers had ended. I am not sure if I posted them, but I believe that I did. |

For this, it does not make much difference whether you bid early, or not... Ebay allows sellers to end listings early, for this reason, even if there are bids on the item, as there was in this case. |

Thanks for all the feedback. Guess I will have to bid at least $1.00 on ebay. Kinda stinks. Thanks again. Happy Trails.

As a slight aside, I have found recently that searching for an item id number, of completed listings, no longer works on Ebay.
So instead I have been using the URL:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ITEM_NUMBER
where you put in the item number concerned... and that brings up the listing.
So, for instance, in this case it would be:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/182094718242
from that listing, selecting the link shows that there was, in fact, one cancelled bid of US $17.99... of course, the auction price would have only been 0.99c though, since there were never any other opposing bids. |

The listing can still be found under that item number if you search completed listings for "Olympus SH-1" and then scroll down to the April 19th dates. Yet another victimized seller of the mysterious missing merchandise: "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available." How terribly convenient when they don't like the bidding. It was at 0 bids when the auction was yanked.
Thus the item dropping off your gixen bid list. |

I no longer see this listing on ebay, but Gixen detected at the time that the listing was ended early by the seller. |

I found the item ID 182094718242. Shows closed Ended:
Apr 19, 2016 , 9:12PM with zero "0" bids. It was on my GDM list for several days before it closed. What happened. |

I have been using GDM for some time. Seems to work. When my bid was to low the item would stay on my list and show outbid/ended or if I was highest would show that also. I was bidding on and Olympus SH-1 due to end on 4/23/2016. Do not know the id # since I do not keep a separate file for items I am bidding on. It just is not on my list. Checked using website. Same not listed there. What happened? Did a history search on ebay, nothing showing up, but not sure if it takes time to update. |
