| I can see that there was a late bid retraction on that auction (see the bid history on Ebay), but it does not look to me like that should have affected the result.
If you have not subscribed to the Mirror service, then none of your snipes will be Mirrored. There does appear to be an issue that some are reporting at the moment (see other recent threads on here) with Ebay refusing perfectly valid log in credentials... Your snipe/account may be one that has been caught up in that.. without knowing the status after the auction completed only Mario will be able to tell you, since only he has access behind the scenes. Without a Mirror subscription there will, in any case, be the occasional failure for your bid to be placed.. perhaps 1 in 300 snipes fail on a single server, for various reasons. |

Was it a Mirrored snipe, if so was the status the same on both servers? If you would like someone to look into it further please can you provide the auction number? |

| I set up a snipe on an auction for a used hard drive on ebay for $41. After auction was over, I saw that someone had won. So I went to check the auction itself to see what it was won for and the winning person had gotten it for $40!
So, HOW does THAT work?? |
