Those free users would not stay users for long if I did that. It looks highly unethical.
There were some proposals to send only the higher bid if two users bid on the same item, but I cannot do that either - sellers and eBay would rightfully have every reason to be upset about that. |

I very much doubt there are very many cases of this... there are a great deal more auctions on Ebay than there ever will be Gixen users, unfortunately.
I also doubt that even if it did ever happen that trying to explain to a free service user that they lost because they had not subscribed would achieve the result that you predict. |

Hi there.
I'm sure some items have multiple users of gixen sniping on them. I recommend some simple logic for the bid system to be implemented:
If subscription member AND a free user has a snipe in for the same item, do not process the snipe for the free user.
More incentive to buy the (cheap) subscription! More fair for subscribers! |
