Unfortunately last night some customers were asked for verifications. I did my best to minimize impact, but unfortunately some snipes were missed because of this. To the best of my knowledge, only Gixen main server was affected.

I would suspect Ebay taking some intermittent/temporary/seemingly random action against one of the Gixen Main servers... but Mario will need to look at the statistics on snipe failures to determine whether or not there is any pattern that he can determine and decide if any action on the Gixen side can improve the performance.

I wouldn't expect outright failures in such circumstances, if the snipes were Mirrored?... Were these only executed on the Main server(s)?

Earlier today I bid $51.88 on ebay item 261813349875. The item sold for $42.08 because my bid was not placed by Gixen. I placed two other bids at the same time on items 351343084415 and 261813329406, both of which went through. But the first bid failed because Gixen says I needed ebay verification. How can this be true when two of the three bids, all on items from the same seller, were executed without this so-called verification issue? I frequently bid using Gixen and have never had this happen. Very disappointing.
