I forgot to add though, I was in the eBay app. And for a couple of minutes, it appeared I wasn't the winner. It actually said "sorry you missed this item." Only when I closed the app and reopened did it say I won. So people need to re meter this.

This just happened to me too! Glad to find my answer here. I just joined, set it up, bought the mirror and app. I was SOOOO upset. Haha!! Happy now!

Yes, if you are not logged on to Ebay when you check their site it can appear like someone else has won an item where, in fact there was a successfully snipe.

I think it is useful to other users if we keep this thread since they may experience the same issue and reading this could save them the time of posting when if they checked some more they might find there is not an issue.

I just checked my email and I WON the item. I did not recognize the fake name that eBay gave me. Sorry to bother you. I would delete my original post if I could figure out how to do that.

I am new to Gixen, but I registered today and tried to snipe this item. Everything looked ready to go, however, another bidder won with a bid $1.50 lower than my offer. Furthermore, Gixen shows that I WON the bid, but eBay says someone else won. What happened? Why does Gixen indicate I won?
