| Ebay will not accept any bids that are not at least one bid increment above the current auction price.
In that range the bid increment is GBP 10.00: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/buy/bid-increments.html So your bid was refused by Ebay because it was less than GBP 310. |

I refer to the failed bid (pasted below). Apologies for being thick but I don't understand why I didn't win when my bid was GBP 301.13 vs the winning bid of GBP 300. Please can someone explain what I'm doing wrong.
