| In the case of a reserve, if your snipe amount is higher than the reserve and no-one else bids, you win at the reserve price... if it is not high enough you loose but the seller has no indication as to how much you bid since the price is left at the opening bid amount. |

| What happens if no-one else bids on an item? Gixen is said to work on 'the second highest bid plus increment'. If an item has start price of GBP 75 and I sniped above this, but no-one else bid, would my snipe go in at GBP 75? Also it seems that some people have start price but have set a reserve price that is higher (but not published). What then happens if no-one else bids or the other bids plus increment are less than the reserve price (yet my maximum bid on Gixen is higher). |
