| Personally I would go through the process that Ebay recommends with the proxy still in place, to get my account associated with the Gixen server... and then remove it later when my sniping is operating as I want... and see what Ebay does then. | |

| So I got the "COULD NOT BID: PHONE OR TEXT VERIFICATION REQUESTED BY EBAY" message.
I followed the instructions, set up the socks proxy and sorted the issue as per the instructions. However, this morning I get an email saying my eBay account has been locked because of unauthorised use. Now I have to change the password on my email and eBay account before I can access my account again. Presumably eBay detected the proxy and didn't like it. What next? |
