This holds true when using the web interface.
However, unfortunately, for the the Gixen Desktop Manager, it isn't quite that simple because there are issues that can be caused by the method that the Gixen Desktop Manager communicates with the Gixen servers (the Gixen API). |

| The real issue first is "What characters will EBAY accept in a password?" Since Gixen primarily acts as a pass through to EBay, using your EBay ID, on your behalf, whatever password you hope to use with Gixen must be acceptable to EBay or the system will not work at all. |
