Your bid for that one was 62.69, not 66.69.

The auction was ending on Fri Jun 20 01:00:29 2014 PDT.

You had a bid of 66.69, that you added on Thu Jun 19 08:08:30 2014, and subsequently edited it on Thu Jun 19 08:08:55 2014 and reduced the bid to 62.69.

This one I lost last week (131214785120) the winning bid was 62.01 and my bid was 66.69 and I got a message that was similar only it did not talk about the bid increment thing. Sorry I don't have more info maybe you could look at some kind of log for my account.

Here is why this can be confusing - you can win by less than a full increment, but in order for your bid to be accepted by ebay, it has to be higher by a full increment than the current price.

You can easily check this by trying to submit a bid on an auction that already has bids. Make that bid less than full increment higher than the current price and try to submit it. eBay will not accept it.

ENDED 66.69 66.50 USD BID UNDER ASKING PRICE: EBAY BID INCREMENT RULE NOT MET
Why did I lose this auction?

This has happened 3 or 4 times in the past week. I understand the bid increment rule but E-bay clearly states that you only have to win by a penny and have won with Gixen before for less than the bid incriment. I have lost other auctions in the last week by 4 or 5 dollars and got the same message. I have used Gixen a little bit for years with no problem.
