Log into eBay with new password.
On Gixen with old password, click on any items you want to bid, and save to eBay watch.
Enter new password on Gixen and "Import Watch List" |

| OK, I followed the discussion in the other topic and saw that this probably means ebay is not going to refuse the snipes anymore. I will leave the proxy on for some time as was suggested. |

| shekvl1, nothing at all. You can now try to snipe an item through Gixen. It will most likely work. |

| Unfortunately missed a bid today. After going into my account and seeing this explanation message I followed the steps up to placing a manual bid while accessing ebay through Gixen proxy, but this action went as usual i.e. my bid issued while being under a proxy succeeded without entering any additional security information. Do not know what else I could do now. |

eBay is taking some actions to address their recent security breach, and this results in a lot of broken functionality.
If you log in to your account now, below that "Verification" message you will see a link to actions that you should take to resolve the issue. I cannot post the link here as it's different for every user. |

| I just changed my password again. I changed it 3 weeks ago also. I have a bid scheduled in 4 hours. Hopefully it will go through. |

| Changed my ebay password and opened a new gixen account. Seems to be working now. |

| Just missed an auction because of this same thing with no prior notice of a problem from ebay. Hopefully this is not going to render Gixen services unreliable in the future. I'm not sure whether to place more bids or not on items I really want. |
