| A misconception that a few Ebay users have is that the end time displayed on an auction is valid in any time-zone...
The time-zone displayed in the auction is the only one that applies, if you are not in that time-zone you have to work out what the end time will be for you. I once had a seller try to give me a better deal on the shipping for the auction, after it had finished, because he knew I was in a different time-zone and thus believed I could still bid on his auction which had finished at what was, for him, a disappointingly low amount... he was disappointed that he was too late to offer that deal when I informed him that once the auction has finished in his time-zone it has also finished in all the others. |
