All combinations that you are able to set are OK.

When you set up a snipe it is possible to have the Main and the Mirror set to bid on different ebay sites.

It is also possible to have the Main and Mirror bid at different times by setting different Offsets.

It does not matter that things you bid on were listed on different sites by the sellers, usually ebay allows you to bid on any auction from any of its sites... and when that is not the case Gixen automatically switches to a site that will accept the bid... that is, so long as you leave the 'Change ebay target site automatically if needed' set to 'Yes' on your settings page.

What is not possible is to have bids set to be placed via two different ebay sites, both at two different times, that would be four bids in total, you can tailor just two bids of the same amount, one from the Main and one from the Mirror... Due to the way ebay and Gixen interact that usually means that only one bid is placed on the auction for your account and most often that is the bid with the highest offset, that is the one scheduled to be placed earlier.

is it then ok to set main on 8 and mirror on 6 in both (com/de)?
this is my first time using this method of bidding, i'm just not sure what to do
exactly.

I agree with Mario's recommendations...

I would also say that these things are options because not everyone agrees what is best, so you are allowed to choose what you think is best.

thanks for reply, what would you recommend regarding adjustments of offset and mirror time in my situation, I have mirror subscription,
my location is in Croatia and I am bidding for some items on Ebay.de and Ebay.com simultaneously.
what numbers would be best to enter

Then Gixen only bids once, the Ebay proxy bidding system makes sure that you don't have to pay more than one bod increment more than anyone else was prepared to bid.

There is no point in using two methods of bidding, in my opinion, especially if you have a Mirror subscription.

I understand that Gixen will start sniping 9 0r 6 sec. before the end of auction, but how much time (sec.) will be between two snipes in that case?
I mean how fast gixen can send snipes to my auction?

and, is there any sense to bidding manualy and automatic (with Gixen) together?
