Yes, in this respect, it doesn't matter where the auction is listed.

Gixen always operates in the currency of the auction... so in this case the amount you enter will be treated as the maximum dollar amount that you are wiling to bid.

If you wish to work in British pounds (as I do) you need to do the conversion to dollars before entering your snipe onto Gixen... also, don't forget, if you plan to use Paypal to pay, that they charge an extra 3.5% to do the currency conversion for you.

Apologies if this has been answered previously.

I'm based in the UK but have lined up a snipe on a US based auction. His listing is (obviously) in dollars. I've set my max in Gixen and I'm assuming (as I intended) that it will be treated as being in GBP 's. Will Gixen bid to the dollar conversion rate equivalent or just to my max on the assumption I meant $s?
