It is a risky strategy... if someone else decides to do the same you could end up paying a great deal more than you expect for it.
IMHO it is best to work out the maximum that you are really happy to pay and set that as your snipe value here on Gixen. |

| Say I really want to win an item. It's few minutes close to the end of the auction and the highest bid is within the price range I am willing to pay for the item. If set my max bid "unbelievably" higher than the market value of the iten then snipe, will I win the item for sure? |
