Gixen does not keep email addresses for most users (unless those that provide it for bid notifications), and since I never spam users I don't have any mass-mailing software on hand. It looks like I should get it for situations such as this one. My apologies for not having it this time.

Was desperate for this item, for daughters birthday and I put way over the amount it would go for in order for it to win. Told auction ended early or snipe late. 120804115277

Really upset about this. I pay for this service and if you were aware that there was a problem, surely we could have been emailed and told this so that we could take action - I could have used another system.

I was unaware that there were any problems as an earlier snipe had worked perfectly fine. I'm aware that problems can happen but there should be some contingency in place for when you recognise problems, especially for those of us that don't just use the free service. As it is, I've already bought other items to go with this and now she isn't going to have the specific item that she wanted. :(
