| That "elsewhere" can also mean mirror server, though it should show "WON BY MIRROR" instead. No reason to worry either way. | |

| I did win it (good point, I should have mentioned!), but was simply curious about why the unusual status message. I can see how on occasion there'd be a disconnect with the response Gixen may get from eBay. | |

| It's not clear from your message did you win it or not?
If you won, that's probably because Gixen failed to get a proper response from eBay when placed a bid so it got confused a little. That won't affect your future sniping too much anyway. If you lost, then Mario should check why Gixen messed up here. |

| On an item I won today through Gixen, in the status notification was a descriptor I've not seen before, "ITEM WON FROM ELSEWHERE"
Not sure what this indicates. I do have the mirror service, but doesn't that show a status like "WON BY MIRROR" if the mirror placed the winning bid? Also, I didn't place a bid manually; (all of my bids go through Gixen, I never use manual bidding anymore. Item # 220863940449 |
