That SQL Error is far more pressing problem, and it probably causes subsequent cookie problems. Email me so that we can find a solution. Note what your username is, and what special characters you are using. |

Hello,
I'm a new, only signed-in-once user. I first signed onto Gixen using Firefox 6.0 as user meran and my password which includes special characters.
I got 4 messages on the next page, the first one being (I'm retyping it so could make a mistake):
"Warning: pg_exec() [function.pg-exec]: Query failed" ERROR: permission denied for relation country in /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/gixen/home_main_1.php on line 377"
The other 3 lines are two times a >>pg_numrows() aupplied arg is not valid<<, and >>Cannot modify header info, headers already sent by (...)<<
At the bottom was a "please wait" and an "if not redirected..."
My Firefox does not redirect to pages unless I OK it. When I OK'ed the redirect I got a message:
"Cookies are disabled in your browser. Gixen requires cookies in order to store session id after you log in. Please enable cookies (or add Gixen to the list of sites for which they are accepted) in your browser and sign in again."
This message surprised me. I checked my Firefox>Options>Options>Privacy and saw
"Firefox will remember your browsing, download, form and search history, and will keep cookies from Web sites you visit."
I Rclicked the Gixen page>View Page Info>Permissions and in Set Cookies the Use Default was checked (with Allow greyed-out but checked).
I haven't had any cookie issues before so I doubt explicitly setting Set Cookies to Allow will matter. Perhaps the issue starts with Firefox prompting me to accept page redirects?
Anyway thanks in advance for any help in this matter. |
