"Outsniped" means that a higher bid was placed after yours, not before.
In practice it usually means that your snipe was scheduled earlier than another higher snipe, and if yours had been later it still would not have won the auction because that other snipe was on its' way regardless of what you did. |

Further to my previous email - Sorry, the wording was "bid under asking price" and not "did not meet asking price".

Hi,
I am new to Gixen Mirror and was just wanting some clarification on terminology. I put on several snipes yesterday. For two of the snipes, the status came back as "did not meet asking price"which is self explanatory, however one came back as "outsniped". Does this mean someone else's snipe got in before me? Please advise.
Thanks.
Regards,
