| I think it deserves a bit more investigation Philip... if there really were no other bids when the auction closed... but you would need to provide the auction number for an investigation to be possible. |

| Philip, you did not post the item number, but what I suspect happened is that your bid did not meet ebay's minimum bid increment rule. Please see http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/bid-increments.html and you will understand. |

I had a snipe for an item which ended with no bids but with a starting bid of 495 - my snipe bid was higher 497.50 than the set price yet I did not get the item
Could you please explain
