| You can bid yourself, and you can never bid against yourself.
What will happen is that higher of two bids will be used by ebay as your maximum bid for proxy bidding. This does not mean you will pay your highest bid - how much you will end up paying depends on other bidders' bids. |

| If I have a snipe set up with Gixen and as I watching the last few seconds of the auction on Ebay I decide I want to bid higher. Can I place the bid manually with Ebay or will I be bidding against myself? Sorry if this question has already been asked. Thanks. | |
