| You overreacted. The current price field is updated once every few hours, and is there only for convenience, it has no causal relation to sniping whatsoever. Gixen would have placed that bid for you had you not deleted it. | |

| eBay item 120467069727 ceased at 15.15.36 Australian EST today
Half an hour before bidding ended I checked the listing and then Gixen which showed a current price from much earlier although the time was correct. That old price persisted until ten minutes or so before the auction when I cancelled the bid and bid direct on eBay just to be sure. Seemed to me Gixen was locked out by eBay. At one stage I tried to update Gixen and had to enter scrambled digits to authorise access by Gixen but price still not updated. What's a'happenin' |
