I found what the problem is. One of the (6) ebay frontend servers (66.135.210.94) has a new SSL certificate (as of Jan 23rd) which is causing a problem when logging in. Other 5 servers work fine. My guess is that they put this new machine in rotation last night around 19.30.

Right now, chance of failure due to this is around 1/36 (as I modified Gixen to try to login second time if the first login fails). I am aware this is pretty high and still causes many users to be affected, and I'm working on this.
