| 5.93 was too low.
When current bid is 5.50, then the next bid should be 5.50 + increment (0.50 in this case) = 6.00. 6.00 is higher than your snipe 5.93 so you did not win. Bid increment depends on the current bid. Here is a list of increments: pages.ebay.com/help/buy/bid-increments.html |

On August 10 to 21:30, I placed a bid on item 180272071886, max 5.93 for an item that finished August 10 to 21:52, Gixen did not notify me of any error. At the auction end, I see : bid in progress 5.50 - Bid lower to the asking price ... 5.50 ... I have put 5.93 ! However, for some reason unknown to me, my bid was not placed. Could you explain why?
