Would it be possible to add an encrypted login form for the security paranoid?

Having a none encrypted login form means it could be changed to send the data to a different location, which, although extremely unlikely, is possible.

Google, eBay, PayPal and many other sites always encrypt the login form as well as the page the form data is sent to.

It wouldn't be hard to add and would just add a little extra security. :)
