This seems like a reasonable candidate for a FAQ. Here's a draft proposal:
Q: I can log in to eBay, but for some reason, I can't log in to Gixen. What's wrong?
A: There are certain characters that Gixen will not accept in a username or password. Here is the list of characters you should avoid: ...

I don't think I've ever seen a doller sign in a username....
or in a password... :D |

I think it would be more beneficial if you could post a comprehensive list of "taboo" characters. That way, I'd know exactly what to omit from my password generating algorithm. Hi there,
today, i recognized that passwords containing special chars, as $, although working with ebay, aren't accepted by gixen. After changen mine to a password without special chars, everything worked well.
Perhaps as PHP-Problem with those $-Chars? |
